Nature
While Melbourne is a metropolitan city with more than four million citizens, thereís also an abundance of opportunity to get out and enjoy nature. The Yarra river flows into Melbourne and provides water lovers with an opportunity to sightsee and take in a number of river activities. Melbourne also offers many notable parks including Port Melbourne and Albert Park.
Just outside of the city you can enjoy a drive along the Great Ocean Road, stop and visit the Twelve Apostles and enjoy world-class beaches ñ ideal for surfing. Take a hike on the Great Alpine Walk.
